Fellowship Church 20 Reaching
This video highlights the vision of Fellowship Church. Fellowship Church has made a huge impact in our lives and in the lives of many others. Meredith started going to FC when she was in Junior High. It was then that she received Christ and was baptized. Soon after that both of her parents came and experienced the same transformation. It was the Summer going into my Junior year that my parents dropped me off for “Elevation”. I had felt God calling me to ministry when I was in Junior High but had fallen way off track and was living my life for the world. My parents knew I was in a bad place so they dropped me off with 800 High School students ready to go to Keystone, CO for a week. When my parents dropped me off I didn’t know a single person and little did I know I would gain a family. By the end of the week God had infused passion in my heart that continues to burn for Him. Over the next two years I served as a Captain in the student ministry and gained a lot from the Student Ministry staff. I also met my wife at FC. The first time I ever met Meredith was while we were both hanging out at Ed’s house with his daughter Lee Beth. It was about a year later that I took Meredith on our first date. Over three years later we got married and then moved to Houston to work at Second Baptist Church. Second Baptist Church is lead by Ed Young Jr.’s Dad, Dr. Ed Young. We have been so blessed to be connected to FC and have enjoyed working at Second over these past three years. It has been incredible to see God move in our lives and many others through Fellowship Church. I pray God continues to bless FC as they strive to reach future generations for Christ.
